The Real Slim Shady made a reference to his tune Stan, where he narrates the story of a crazed fan insistent on hearing back from Slim.

This same song started the popular culture reference “Stan,” that is often used on social media to refer to someone who is a megafan, or obsessed with something or someone.

But while some fans have been able to reach out to the Grammy-winning artist, others have complained that the number is not contactable in all regions and countries.
